Menja works with the director on the management and strategic planning of the Nature Research Centre. She heads or takes part in research on the behavioural and population ecology of the American mink (Neogale vison) and other mammals (such as killer whales and seals), non-native species, and population ecology and conservation of birds (such as the white-tailed eagle). She is also involved in public education and provides advice to authorities on environmental and nature conservation.
