Menja works with the director on the management and strategic planning of the Nature Research Centre. She heads or takes part in research on the behavioural and population ecology of the American mink (Neovison vison), other non-native species, and population ecology of birds (such as the white-tailed eagle). She is also involved in projects concerning the conservation of seals and killer whales. She is the main graphical designer and cartographer of the institute. She also takes part in public education and consultation on environmental issues and nature conservation.
